WHAT IS AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils in holistic treatments. It aims to treat the whole person by helping to restore harmony of mind body and spirit, improving emotional wellbeing.  Essential oils diffuse through the skin barrier into the blood system enhancing all massage treatments and aiding the relief of tense muscles and stress.  What are Essential Oils?Essential oils are extracted from plant material and have therapeutic properties. Therapists regularly use around 50 oils to help a variety of conditions. Each oil has different therapeutic properties, so from within the range Aromatherapists can select oils that can benefit various conditions throughout the body. Oils are selected and blended especially for your individual needs.Sharon is a certified Clinical Aromatherapist and blends all of her own oils thereby enabling treatment for specific presenting ailments and conditions.
