About Cocoa Heaven Holistic Wellness
Grow Towards Wellness
Choose to live a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness: it is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle.
What is Holistic Wellness
Holistic Health is actually an approach to life. Rather than focusing on illness or specific parts of the body, this ancient approach to health considers the whole person and how he or she interacts with his or her environment. It emphasizes the connection of mind, body and spirit.
The principles of holistic have been around since the time of Hippocrates, 2500 years ago and even earlier then the eastern healing traditions of Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine.
This Holistic theory is applicable to the 4 interrelated dimensional parts:
PHYSICAL MENTAL EMOTIONAL SPIRITUAL
These parts of a human being work cohesively together in order to facilitate homeostatic, well-being for optimal health.
Your Health & Wellness Matter
In order to live a higher quality life, maintaining optimal wellness is key. Everything we feel and do relates to our well-being and directly affects our actions and emotions. In order to subdue stress, reduce illness, and ensure positive moments in your life, you must achieve optimal wellness. Whole-Body Approach
Your body is interconnected. Your treatment should be too. We look beyond symptoms to find the cause.
Live With Passion & Purpose
To achieve optimal wellness, one must apply it towards every possible endeavor. You can apply a wellness approach towards your environment, community, career, belief systems, physical activities, self care, healthy eating, self esteem, and creative activities. Applying wellness in your everyday life will allow you to achieve your full potential and live with passion and purpose. Wellness is a holistic integration of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, fuelling the body, engaging the mind, and nurturing the spirit. Although it always includes striving for health, it’s more about living life fully, and is “a lifestyle and a personalized approach to living life in a way that… allows you to become the best kind of person that your potentials, circumstances, and fate will allow”
